2023 Roadmap to Candyland

Dear Candy Fam,

I hope this announcement finds you well.

I’m writing this to explain more what some of you heard me say during the cronos stream. And to detail our 2023 roadmap.

Since we first launched on november 1st 2022, we have been working non stop releasing products and knocking down milestones that it feels like 2 years to me.

There are surely others I’m not mentioning, the partner farms & pools, partner NFT staking, new farms & pools, Discord’s Chocolate and so on..

You just need to look at how long our “Earn” menu is to know that the opportunities are almost endless. But this is just the start. For the upcoming year, we have even more things planned that I have to divide them into sections.

1.DEX & AMM

We are still working non stop on improving the DEX, launching new features and expanding its capabilities. We are already number 3 in cronos but we’ll go after that number 2 spot with everything we’ve got.

So here are some features that are planned for the coming days & weeks (I don’t like planning in quarters but don’t want to give you specific dates, just expect us to keep delivering at the same pace we have been since the start).

• New & improved Zap feature: People like our current zap feature because it’s seamlessly included in our liquidity tab. It does have one weakness, you can only zap a token within the LP.
• For example you can zap WBTC into WBTC-WETH LP, but you can’t zap USDC into that LP. That’s what the new zap feature will do for you.
• 1click farming: The evolution of this feature will be 1click farming. Imagine finding a farm you want to stake in, and you only click “stake” button and the contract does everything for you.
• No need to sell half your token, form LP, then stake in the farm, all in one step. A great way to onboard beginners in the space.
• Partner NFT boosting: You can currently use our NFTs to boost Candy farms & pools but you can’t boost others.
• Since our list of partners is growing daily, we will soon be able to accept their NFTs as boosters to specific farms & pools. This way, we welcome more CROfam everyday.
• Multi rewards farms: we offer our partners today farms, single staking pools, NFT staking & in the near future we will also offer them dual rewards farms with Candy + their token.
• We are all CFOfam after all, we have to always find more ways to work together.
• Dashboard: With all the earning opportunities in our site, you can easily forget to harvest your Candy. So we are creating a dashboard will all your earnings.
• And a “harvest all” function to get you going with your day even faster.
• Boost calculator: You can boost your farms & pools with your locked vault & with your NFTs, but many of you would like to know how to get that boost.
• This feature will make it easy for anyone to know how much to lock for how long & how many NFTs of which rarities to stake to get that 2x boost.
• Analytics page: To make good decisions about your investments, you need information. This is what this feature is about.
• It will list: Trading volume, TVL, Market cap, Circulating supply, Price, Burned supply, Locked supply, NFTs staked, NFTs locked.

2.Web3 play to earn games

We initially launched Candy Flow game to be independent from Apple. We were right to do so. Web3 will always run regardless of outside forces.

Which is why we decided to continue on this path launching new web3 games for you to have fun, play with Candy and earn Candy.

• Candy Pool: Very shortly our very own multiplayer play to earn pool game will go live. It’s being tested by the team as I type these words.
• Simple earning mechanic: bet 100 candy each, winner takes 80% (160 Candy) 20% left is burned.
• In future improvements of this game, we will organize tournaments where you play multiple matches against multiple players and the top 3 winners take the pot.
• Lottery: We will introduce lottery tickets that you can purchase for a chance to win the pot that will get bigger and bigger every week.
• Of course not only the player who holds the exact numbers win, you can even win a portion of the pot if you hold just one of the numbers.
• Casino: We plan on launching a web3 casino with multiple games of chance or skill for you to earn Candy.
• Slot machines, card games, horse racing…everything you see in online casinos, simply now it’s on cronos chain and it’s playable with Candy.

3.Mobile play to earn games

Now that we solved the Apple situation. It opens the way for us to develop more token & NFT mechanics on mobile games with no future problems.

We plan on launching one new mobile game every 2 months. That’s 6 new play to earn games coming to apple store & play store this year.

They will all use the same Candy token and the same Bored Candy NFTs. They will all have a version of the earning mechanics we have today in Candy City game.

• Leaderboard: Top 10 scorers everyday get awarded Candy to their in game wallets that they can use in game to get even higher scores or withdraw to their cronos chain wallets.
• Top 1: 100 Top 2: 75 Top 3: 50 Top 4: 25 Top 5: 20 Top 6: 10 Top 7 to 10: 5
• Multiplayer betting: bet against another player, winner takes 80%, 20% is burned.

We created a simple way for you to link up your cronos chain wallet to your game wallet to deposit and withdraw Candy, and to stake your NFT to change avatar and receive special powers in game.

Once the update goes live in Apple, we will reset all earnings made during the standby period, then we’ll release this feature.

4. Peppermint NFT Marketplace

We are creating another important part of our ecosystem where ALL fees are distributed back as listing & trading rewards, first to our NFT holders then to all users.

You will soon be able to buy & sell your NFTs for Candy or CRO & receive Candy rewards simply for listing or for trading.
