BCC March updates

We have some fantastic news on the growth of the protocol to share since our last update!

• The BCC team has got some great news to share about the Candy City Mobile game! We launched a rewards program that’s now available in the game. The Top 10 players will receive $Candy rewards, ranging from 100 to 5 $Candy! Initially, the rewards were stored on the game account, but with the recent update, it is linked to the wallet. Plus, players are able to engage in some thrilling head-to-head battles, with 3 different game modes to choose from.
• We have partnered with Cronosverse and have our own building built/building. It’s big, it’s pink, it’s a strawberry!!!!
• Transak — Onboarding and Off ramping. Buying with CC, bank transfer, apple and google pay. 1st Dex on the CronosChain to integrate Transak. Off ramp for Cronos is currently being developed by Transak.
• BURN BABY BURN — We burned 2 million $Candy, which was half the project treasury. This brings the total burned to date to 3.2 million.
• We have established a partnered staking with the Tilted Dabbers OG, and we are currently working on developing additional partnerships.
• $Candy pools, farms, and APRs — Amidst the creation of numerous farms, a solitary $Candy staking pool was also established. However, there were several adjustments that had to be made along the way. Some farms had to be removed due to low liquidity, while other farms had their APRs increased in order to make them more attractive to the community.
• Candy Pool the game! Not a staking pool — The Bored Candy City team has recently introduced a web3-based pool game that allows players to engage in head-to-head matches. In this game, each player places a bet of 25 $Candy, and the winner of the game receives 40 $Candy, while the remaining $Candy is burnt. Moreover, the team has exciting plans for additional game features and updates that will be rolled out throughout the year.
• Community Events! On a weekly basis, we have been organizing game nights that feature a variety of exciting games such as Candy Pool, Candy City, and Fall Guys. In addition, we have also been arranging movie screening events to add more fun to our discord. And of course, we cannot forget about BINGO, which is always a hit among the community members.
• Bingo has evolved! We have now begun to mint Bingo NFTs on the BCC Dex, which are used in both the BCC and CronosDuels Discord channels for Bingo games featuring a range of prizes (primarily $Candy).
• More token usage for $Candy with two new marketplaces, Peppermint and Moonflow. Both marketplaces are issuing $Candy for their reward system AND for purchasing and minting NFTs!
• Have you heard? Rebel Punks has minted out! Who would’ve thought that a rugged project could still mint, especially in a bear market? I’ll tell you who, the Bored Candy City Fam! Even better, they’ve launched a brand new project called CronosDuels, which will incorporate the Rebel Punk NFTs into its platform. Plus, CronosDuels will be the very first project to be minted on Peppermint!
• Imperivm (IMP) Token; On March 27th, the IMP token will be launched as the game enters beta testing and the team addresses any bugs and issues. After learning valuable lessons from our previous token launch, the Imperivm team underwent a thorough vetting process. We aimed to strike a balance between protecting and reassuring the community while still providing a launchpad for the game’s development.
• GDRT Token; The GDRT Token was whitelisted on the BCC dex.
• Inaugurating the Auction functionalities on Peppermint, Candyman offered his Legendary VVS Miner Mole NFT for sale. Subsequently, the NFT was sold for 65k $Candy, which was then burned.
• Presale Investment Unlocking — Listening to the BCC community, we have moved the unlocking of the presale investment from April 30th to March 15th. This benefits the community moving forward as it gets a very anticipated event out of the way, without the concerns of it hindering growth.

Furthermore, the team’s decision to expedite the presale investment unlocking has been met with great enthusiasm from the community, fostering growth and advancement for the protocol.
